Personal decorating inspiration: At market…seeing how new collections fit into my design projects charges my creative battery.

Living in Raleigh, North Carolina for design school: I was steeped in period interiors, classic architecture and impeccable historic restorations…the best design foundation.

Biggest decorating mistake: Letting my husband pick out color for the kitchen…neon yellow. 

Most sophisticated color: Deep charcoal…not flat black, which is too severe.

Multiples of small things: Not a big fan…but better grouped than scattered. Unify objects by placing them together for maximum impact.
