Summertime Soirée
Let your party take the limelight with a scrumptious menu from Andria’s Steakhouse.
Edward and Sue believe that advance preparation is the key to a successful party. “Think like a seasoned party planner,” remark the couple, who believe in lots of advanced preparation to ensure that the party memories (and good food and drinks) flow from start to finish. Selecting Andria’s for the party was an ideal match-up. “Andria’s has a great, diversified summertime menu with a lighter fare that includes steak-bites and seasonal mixed drinks,” says Al Genovese, Sr., managing partner of Andria’s Steakhouse.
Edward and Sue believe that advance preparation is the key to a successful party. “Think like a seasoned party planner,” remark the couple, who believe in lots of advanced preparation to ensure that the party memories (and good food and drinks) flow from start to finish. Selecting Andria's for the party was an ideal match-up. “Andria's has a great, diversified summertime menu with a lighter fare that includes steak-bites and seasonal mixed drinks,” says Al Genovese, Sr., managing partner of Andria's Steakhouse.
To make their parties unforgettable, they send out E-vites to those on their guest list (they often entertain up to two dozen guests) centered around a fun theme. Throughout the evening, the couple takes lots of candid and posed pictures (there's always at least one great group shot), and then each guest receives copies of the photos in a special thank-you e-mail.
Guests savored the evening with a delightful buffet of Andria's prime rib salad, broiled salmon with mango salsa, and seafood dishes, such as lobster-and-spinach-filled turnovers and crab cakes in a caper cream sauce. Edward and Sue suggest having olive oil and balsamic vinegar with hot bread on hand to create a fine dining experience. To top off the evening, key lime calypso with white chocolate chips took the cake (or the pie, in this instance), and was a hit among party guests.
The evening ended with parting gifts that earned the gathering a standing ovation. Guests selected from an array of vibrant plants to extend the wonderful evening with a blossoming summertime memento. And when the party photos arrive, it's sure to be all smiles for the recipients – adding to the evening's picture-perfect and undeniable success!

| Edward and Sue's Party Planning Tips: • Start traditions to make all of your parties memorable, such as candid and group photos sent electronically with a special thank-you as a memento of your summer get-together. • Create the right atmosphere using candles strategically indoors and out to change things up and to suit the mood. Don't forget the citronella candles and good lighting outdoors. • Encourage guests to linger after the fabulous meal (in this case, from Andria's Steakhouse) with a variety of “three-bite” desserts to satisfy a broad range of tastes. • Keep the music flowing with a summertime playlist: • Have icebreakers to get a party going! “Name That Tune” could easily keep the party exciting (with guests reaching back into their memories of sandy beaches). |
