Three French Hens
Three French Hens
When Three French Hens opened in 2003, Wildwood became home to the most extraordinary European antiques and home furnishings showroom in the Midwest. Three French Hens has evolved into the place to shop in the St. Louis area while also attracting patron from New York to California. Those who deem shopping to be a fun experience will find that the owner and employees are a very warm and friendly bunch. The Three French Hens staff usually knows repeat shoppers by their first names and loves to welcome them back. Complimentary coffee and latte is provided to customers while they browse and a room is available for the young ones to watch a kids' DVD movie while their Mom and Dad shop.
Owner Jeanie Hood stocks the 10,000 square-foot showroom with a wonderful mix of European antiques, well-known furniture lines such as Harden, Lorts, Leathercraft, Jeff Zimmerman Collection and Marge Carson, plus a large selection of home accessories and unique gifts. The mystique of Three French Hens is the constant changing, from room displays to the furniture in them.
So if you are looking for the perfect antique armoire, sideboard or bookcase; a massive wooden farm table; beautiful sofa or chair; a distinctive lamp; framed oils; lush linens and hand-painted pillows; a homespun wreath or a spray of hand-dried flowers, you'll find it all at Three French Hens. But Jeanie's advice – "If you see something you like, buy it now, because it might be gone" – proves true, as many items are one-of-a kind.
Three French Hens continues to grow, but the staff remains as warm and welcoming as the store itself, always ready to help customers capture and bring home the look they love.
