The renovation of this elegant powder room, guided by the clients’ refined palette and the design team’s exceptional creativity, sought to refresh the first-floor home’s interiors while leaning on its existing bones to create an elevated, timeless and functional home. The design team worked thoughtfully to create a dramatic, custom-built vanity, with a deep red high gloss finish that anchors the space and provides a rich grounding element for the wallpaper and the detailed marble countertop. This design is enhanced by the countertop’s tasteful details, impressive apron and handsome backsplash. The natural stone’s beauty is coordinated beautifully with the room’s color theory, with the plumbing carefully curated to highlight the marble backsplash.

Why the judges love it:

The shape and cut of the marble slab are stately and sophisticated. When in combination with the calming, elegant wallpaper and the negative space created by the carved wood legs of the vanity, the look is balanced yet maintains elegance and complexity.
