2018 Baths of the Year - Platinum

2018 Baths of the Year - Platinum

Did you know that the average person spends at least 92 days in the bathroom over their lifetime? With this much time spent in one room, it is important you enjoy the space. After seeing these 2018 Platinum Baths of the Year winners, you will be bubbling over with inspiration and ideas to create your own bathroom oasis. We separated the winners by Platinum and Gold, and will be posting about the Gold Winners later this week!

  • The first Platinum winner is a gorgeous 200-sq. ft. master bathroom designed by Marc Christian Fine Cabinetry and Interior Visions. Not only is this space elegant, it is also functional. Complete with a makeup vanity, dresser and a soaking tub as the focal point, this bathroom is fit for a queen. The light from the exquisite chandelier washes over the space in a warm light that creates a spa-like feel.

  • The second Platinum 2018 Baths of the Year Winner is an elegant 150–200 sq. ft. master bath designed by Alspaugh Kitchen and Bath. The designer used the room’s dormers and natural architecture when designing the layout of the space. The homeowners wanted a classic white-and-marble look, with lower maintenance. The details of the space are what made the bath stand out. If you look closely, you will notice the charming coffee bar on the dormer and the soft up lighting and under-cabinet lighting. This room is a glowing, classical beauty – much like Audrey Hepburn, whose photo is hung on the wall.

  • The next 100 –150 sq. ft. Platinum bath shines bright, and that is exactly why it was chosen as a 2018 Baths of the Year Platinum Winner. The goal of Alspaugh Kitchen and Bath when designing this space was to create an elegant and vibrant room for the homeowners. They achieved this by adding material that was both cohesive and dramatic. Using Calacatta Michelangelo marble, stainless-steel tiles mixed with the black tile inserts and the metallic wallpaper, the room became a luxuriously sparkly space, unlike any other.

Have you ever wondered what the baths of the future would look like? Look no further than the 2018 Platinum Baths of the Year winner designed by R.G. Apel Development. Even at less than 100 sq. ft., this bath combines both form and function to create a space that is both fully accessible and absolutely gorgeous. The mosaic glass tile, stainless steel trim and the glass countertop give the space a clean, sleek feel that has a masculine feel.
