This primary bath redefines the expectations of a traditional suburban remodel. The vision was to create a clean, open and light-filled retreat—one that balances luxury with intentional simplicity. At the heart of the design is a striking wet room concept, seamlessly integrating a curbless shower and a freestanding soaking tub behind a floor-to-ceiling glass panel. Materials were carefully chosen to elevate the space while maintaining warmth and texture. A custom walnut vanity, crafted with grain-matched drawer fronts, anchors the room with natural richness. The vanity wall is finished with Fireclay Tile, while the floor features a marble mosaic—adding movement and subtle pattern without overwhelming the space. Brizo plumbing fixtures provide a refined, sculptural edge.

Why the judges love it:

This bathroom shines where detail quietly draws the eye. The primarily white color scheme allows textures from the walls and mosaic floor to do the work, providing a clean, ethereal retreat. The steel hardware serves to anchor the room where it needs to be—at the simple, yet thoughtfully crafted wood vanity. Quiet sophistication dominates the room and renders itself in every detail.
