Best of Missouri Market® is a St. Louis fall tradition, offering visitors the chance to explore handcrafted products, artisan goods, local food and drink vendors in a lively outdoor market setting- all while enjoying the beauty of the Garden's autumn colors.

In 2026, the market will feature over 170 vendors—the largest selection to date—as the market expands to the Bayer Event Center inside the Garden’s Visitor Center. New vendors include a book binder, wildlife artists, recycled jewelry and apparel vendors, handmade leather experts and more. A full list of vendors can be found on the Garden’s website.

Guests 21 and older can sample some fall flavors at the Craft Beer and Cocktail Court, featuring local drink vendors. Explore and take home some of the region’s best spirits including wine, beer, mead and more. The market will also feature several local restaurants, food trucks and coffee brewers offering seasonal flavors to visitors.  

Children and their families can enjoy face painting, a petting zoo, balloon art, crafts and a pumpkin patch with sustainable pumpkin decorating at the Kids’ Corner. The Kids’ Corner is included with admission to Best of Missouri Market®.

Early October is one of the best times to enjoy Missouri’s native flowers. Stop by the Kemper Center for Home Gardening to experience our mini prairie and enjoy natives such as goldenrod, aromatic aster, blazing star and pink muhlygrass. Some of Missouri’s native trees and shrubs will start showing signs of fall color at this time, such
as sassafras, hickories and
black gum.
