Dana King Design Build Remodeling transformed this turn-of-the-century home’s bathroom in a dramatic remodel. Looking for a primary bathroom that accommodates both busy mornings and relaxing evenings, the designer chose to not remove any walls, opting instead to demo a closet and place a standing shower with a frameless glass enclosure in the previous space. High ceilings are accentuated with a mural wallpaper and gold, sculpted leaf chandelier.

Addressing uneven floor heights, removing soffits and tackling the lack of a toilet room were some of the main starting points for this bathroom renovation. Transforming a dated floor plan, Karr Bick Kitchen + Bath sought to create a functional and timeless space. To infuse character into the home, wainscoting was added throughout the bathroom up to the ceiling. This provided a backdrop for the mirrors and sconces and blends nicely with the floral wallpaper pattern along the walls.

This primary bathroom is the embodiment of luxury and grace. A custom De Gournay wallcovering featuring a moonlit garden design on metallic silk immediately draws viewers’ eyes into the room. The surrounding walls were custom painted to match the wallcovering and soft reflective materials, such as the Waterworks Candide freestanding oval tub, carry the space’s metallic theme. The Adele small sconce by Visual Comfort adds a soft, inviting glow to the space, and the Lola beveled mirror is embellished with quartz crystal points that reflect light throughout the room.

This mid-century modern bathroom by Hamtil Construction is a truly remarkable transformation that met all of the client’s requirements. Through thoughtful planning, a private water closet, enlarged shower, soaking tub, double vanity and ample storage were added to the primary bath. The walk-in shower features a full-length shampoo ledge and bench seat with a combination of navy blue hexagon and black subway tiles throughout the shower walls and floor. A free-standing tub sits between two windows and serves as the focal point of the room.

This bathroom renovation turned an ordinary builder-grade bathroom into a bright, stylish and highly functional oasis. The client had very specific goals for the room: brightening the space, enhancing its functionality and aligning the design with their personal style. Through a thoughtful selection of materials and a keen eye for design, Karr Bick Kitchen + Bath brought this vision to life. Stunning black-and-white statement tiles in the shower set the tone for the space, and quarter-sawn white oak cabinetry incorporated natural and organic textures.

A recently single mother of two turned to Chelsea Design and Wise Bros. LLC to create her dream timeless and feminine primary bathroom. Removing two walls and creating a new french door entry, a long, narrow space was left behind. The client’s requested makeup area sits in the center of the room and is visible from the bedroom. The shower was able to expand in size and an air tub was added at the end of the room through careful planning. The vanity stool was built with hand-selected fabrics inside Chelsea Design’s in-house workroom and adds the perfect touch of color to the primary bath.
