Located in the refreshingly free-form Terryhill area, the home of Marilyn and Jay Cohn is as close to idyllic as one can envision on a warm July afternoon. Their garden is immaculate. Their almost 80-year-old home is immaculate. Their property is an exercise in cohesion and cooperative balance. Everything agrees and everything blends.

When it comes to bathroom design, mirrors are a necessity. But your choice of mirror doesn’t have to be basic and boring. A statement mirror in an unusual shape, unexpected finish or over-the-top size will make your bath bubble with style.

SLHL: How do you help homeowners come up with a bath design they are seeking?
    Anne
: First, I learn about the client and who is using the space. Then, I genuinely listen to them… their dream spaces, their “Pinterests,” what they envision and I ask what functionality is missing for them in the space. I try to drive each project by the client’s needs.
